According to Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), footage indicated that the terrorists were assembling for either a planned meeting or preparing for a significant attack on troops
The heavily armed individuals were observed engaging in banter and moving randomly around three zinc structures, accompanied by four troop carrier
The airstrike revealed the destruction of two out of the three structures and the entire fleet of troop carriers.
Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, the Chief of the Air Staff, commended the Air Component Commander and personnel for their successful operation.
He encouraged them to continue collaborating with the land component to sustain the momentum in confronting and keeping the terrorists on alert.
