‘Naira Marley Would Have Been A Tomatoes Seller Under Bridge At Oshodi If Not For Funke Akindele’ – Uche Maduagwu

Popular Nigerian singer, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, known professionally as Naira Marley has come under public ridicule after the controversial actor, Uche Maduagwu once again dished an unpopular opinion about how Funke Akindele helped his music career.

gistreel.com reported that Uche took to Instagram to share a lengthy post about how the singer would have been a tomatoes seller under Oshodi bridge.

In his words, the actor averred that Funke is a prayer warrior who invocates good wishes for artists in the entertainment industry.

Maduagwu wrote:

“So many singers are jealous that ®nairamarley is Fela personified, if not for @funkejenifaakindele prayers, #NairaMarley would have been selling #Tomato under bridge at Oshodi. @funkejenifaakindele is not just a colleague in #Nollywood, Villiwhen it comes to prayers, she is very strong.

“Honestly, the envy and jealousy in the Nigerian #music industry is too much, just because #Marlians all over #Africa treat Naira Marley as the spiritual baba #fela and #dance to his legendary #songs, there is so much bitterness in the industry, honestly, if not for the prayers of this Nollywood legend, do you think Naira Marley will still be doing music?”

The 29-year-old singer, Naira Marley is known as the President of his controversial fan base ‘Marlians’.
