50,000 Police Recruitment Successful – PSC Chairman

The Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police Hashimu Argungu, has convened a meeting with key stakeholders to review the recently concluded recruitment exercise for 50,000 police constables.
During the meeting, Argungu praised the conduct of the nationwide recruitment process, describing it as orderly, transparent and largely free of major challenges.

He commended all stakeholders involved for ensuring that the exercise was carried out peacefully and efficiently, noting that the recruitment process was successful and completed without significant difficulties.
The PSC chairman reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to maintaining transparency, fairness and professionalism in police recruitment, while encouraging continued collaboration among stakeholders to strengthen future exercises.
