26 Soldiers Killed, 20 Injured in Borno Landmine Blast Claimed by ISWAP

At least 26 Nigerian soldiers were killed and 20 others injured after their truck hit a landmine while traveling from Damboa to Maiduguri in Borno State on Tuesday.

The attack, reportedly claimed by ISWAP, occurred during a military leadership handover ceremony in Maiduguri.

The region continues to face escalating violence from insurgent groups including Boko Haram and ISWAP Terrorists.
