Zulum inaugurates 100 housing technology village in Karu, Nasarawa

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, recently oversaw the inauguration of 100 housing units as part of the initial phase of the Nasarawa Technology Village Housing Estate in Karu.

During his visit, Governor Zulum also participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Technology Hub and the second phase of the housing project.

These developments are located on a 67-hectare piece of land along the Mararaba-Aso Pada axis of Karu Local Government Area.

Governor Zulum traveled to Karu at the invitation of Nasarawa State Governor, Engr Abdullahi A Sule.

He commended Governor Sule’s administration for its significant achievements over the past five years.

The establishment of the technology village is expected to facilitate the exploration of Nasarawa State’s abundant mineral resources and generate employment opportunities for its young population.

Governor Sule expressed his appreciation to Governor Zulum for attending the commissioning of the housing project and laying the foundation for the next phase of development in the Mararaba-Aso Pada axis.

As a gesture of honor, Governor Abdullahi A Sule named the main road leading to the newly inaugurated facility after Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.

Additionally, the Nasarawa Technology Village Housing Estate in Karu was named after Vice President Kashim Shettima.
