Zenith has been recognized as the top bank for digital solutions

In the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2023, Zenith Bank Plc was recognized as the “Best Bank for Digital Solutions in Nigeria,” highlighting the bank’s exceptional and innovative accomplishments in providing state-of-the-art digital financial products.

Speaking on the honour, Dr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu, Group Managing Director and CEO of Zenith Bank Plc, stated: “We are honoured to have been named Nigeria’s Best Bank for Digital Solutions. This award validates Zenith Bank’s innovative efforts to incorporate cutting-edge technology into Nigeria’s financial services industry. We are steadfast in our resolve to push the boundaries of digital financial services and will never stop innovating and providing our stakeholders and clients with greater value.”

At a time when the promise of technology in banking had not yet been fully appreciated, Onyeagwu dedicated the award to Jim Ovia, the founder and chairman of Zenith, for his visionary approach to integrating technology into banking and creating an exceptional model for service delivery.

He thanked the bank’s customers for their steadfast support, the board for its direction, and the employees for their unshakable commitment to creating a strong financial organisation. “Technology now stands as the cornerstone of the financial services sector,” he stated.
