Zaria Police Uncover Lifeless Body of Missing Boy, Pledge to Capture Perpetrators

The Police Command in Kaduna State has officially stated that they successfully located a 10-year-old boy named Ibrahim Muntaqa Mohammed, who had gone missing in the Kwanar Dangoma neighborhood in Zaria town while on a family visit. 

The authorities have confirmed the safe recovery of the young boy after a period of being lost, bringing relief to his family and community.

The incident occurred during a family visit, where Ibrahim Muntaqa Mohammed became separated from his family members in the Kwanar Dangoma area of Zaria town.

The diligent efforts of the Kaduna State Police Command played a crucial role in the positive outcome of finding the missing child, ensuring a reunification with his concerned family.

The community and local residents were also actively involved in the search efforts, contributing to the collaborative approach in locating the 10-year-old boy.

The confirmation of Ibrahim Muntaqa Mohammed’s recovery underscores the importance of swift and coordinated responses in such situations, highlighting the dedication of law enforcement and community members to ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals, especially young children, in distressing circumstances.

The Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansur Hassan, mentioned that they were notified after the discovery of the child, who was found unconscious in a bush with bruises and injuries.

The child, who has autism, went missing around 4 pm on Wednesday in Zaria. Although there were suspicions of harm to his body, investigations are ongoing to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.

It was noted that the child had traveled from Kano before this unfortunate event.

ASP Mansur Hassan assured that efforts are being made to uncover the truth and provide support to the affected community members.

Currently, no one has been arrested, but the police are working to determine the situation and ensure the child receives necessary care under parental guidance.
