The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has showered praises on President Bola Tinubu for appointing Süfyan Yuguda as the State Director of the City Boy Project, describing the move as well-deserved and timely.
The commendation was contained in a statement released on Friday in Gusau by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Malam Yusuf Idris.
Yuguda, a former Commissioner for Finance in Zamfara during the administration of ex-Governor Bello Matawalle, was described by the party as a tested hand whose political footprint speaks volumes.
Idris said the party was delighted with the choice, applauding President Tinubu for placing the baton in the hands of a young, energetic and dependable party loyalist.
“This appointment did not come as a surprise, considering the ability of the appointee as a strong and reliable youths political mobiliser.
“We are all aware of Süfyan Yuguda’s contributions to the development of the APC and the entire people of Zamfara as he had demonstrated at various strategic levels of our political wins.
“We are therefore highly confident of the capacity of the appointee to promote our amiable President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 elections,” he said.
According to Idris, the appointment once again shows that the president has a keen eye for talent and a deep appreciation for dedication and loyalty.
“Also worthy of commendation are: The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle and Sen. Abdulaziz Yari for ensuring that Zamfara and its good people are not left out in president Tinubu’s administration,” he explained.
He added that with Yuguda’s emergence, the party believes Zamfara’s voice will continue to echo loudly within the corridors of power.
