Nollywood actor and clergyman Yul Edochie has explained why he took a break from his online ministry.
On Instagram, he shared that he needed time to prepare himself spiritually for God’s work. During this break, he said God took him on a journey and revealed many things to him.
In a message to his church members, he encouraged them not to miss his services. He promised to reveal many secrets and teach them how to protect themselves from the devil’s evil plans.
He emphasized that religion alone can’t save people and that prayer isn’t enough, which is why many churches keep appearing, yet evil persists.
“Religion will not save us. Prayer is not enough. That is why we have thousands of churches springing up every day, yet evil persists. I took a break from my ministry to prepare myself spiritually for God’s work. During that time, God took me on a journey and revealed so much to me.
Don’t miss our live broadcast this Sunday. I will expose many secrets and teach you how to protect yourself from the evil plans of the devil, which are spreading rapidly. Streaming live on YouTube on Yul Edochie TV and TikTok @yuledochieodogwu. Don’t miss it. It will be explosive.”
Yul had accepted his calling and launched his own online ministry, The Salvation Ministry. Many thought he was just seeking attention until he held his first online service on Sunday, January 28th. During that service, he shared how God called him, and a lady testified that Yul had miraculously healed her during his sermon.
During Easter, Yul advised people to stop burning shrines and deities, explaining that not all deities are evil. He taught Nigerians how the Whites had brainwashed them into abandoning their traditions and urged them to embrace their heritage.
In another post, he advised religious people not to be too obsessed with religion. He claimed that much of religion is a scam designed to control people. He praised the ways of their forefathers, who worshiped the same Almighty God in different, more efficient ways.
