YouTube Music is rolling out new features powered by artificial intelligence. These include an AI-generated radio and a song recognition tool.
The AI-generated radio lets users create custom radio stations by simply describing their favorite types of music. This feature is now available to select Premium users in the U.S., with plans to expand to more users soon.
The new song recognition tool allows users to identify songs by singing, humming, or playing parts of the song. This tool is more advanced than Shazam, which can only identify songs that are played.
Initially available to some Android users, the song recognition feature is now being made available to all iOS and Android users.
Other music platforms like Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer are also testing similar AI-powered playlist generation tools.
