Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has berated the former lawmaker Dino Melaye over his recent political remarks, insisting that the All Progressives Congress (APC) should not be dragged into what he described as Melaye’s personal disputes.
In a swift response to Maleye’s tweet questioning the leadership strength of the former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi who recently defected to the NDC barely months after joining the ADC, Onanuga wrote: “Haba Dino, leave our APC party out of your beef with your nomadic associate, who, true to character, has moved on for a ticket he will get on a silver platter! The NDC is not an agent of the APC.”
The comment was a direct reaction to Melaye’s criticism, with Onanuga dismissing any attempt to link the APC to internal opposition politics or defections.
