Nigerian musician Young Jonn and footballer Michelle Alozie are back in the dating speculation after they were spotted exchanging loving gestures after Nigeria’s 5 nil win against Comoros at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
The Tuesday night match attracted fans’ attention who once again wondered if the two are lovers. It must be noted that neither of them is yet to confirm being in a relationship.
The News Chronicle reports that the pair have maintained a visible connection over the years. In 2023, Alozie presented Young Jonn with a Super Falcons jersey bearing her name and number during a meeting in Houston, Texas. Their association continued in 2024, when Alozie attended the music producer’s concert and shared a video of her car stereo playing his hit song, Sharpaly.
Alozie has also shown her love for Young Jonn’s music, naming him among her favourite Nigerian singers and musicians apart from Ayra Starr and Burna Boy.
In the meantime, Nigeria emerged victorious against Comoros, registering a 7 nil aggregate win and qualifying for the third round of the 2028 Olympic women’s football qualifiers. Alozie opened the scoring in the first leg as Uchenna Kanu scored the second goal in Nigeria’s 2 nil win.
The Super Falcons will be preparing for their next qualifier against Morocco which is scheduled to start in February and March 2027.
