Tonto Dikeh slams Mohbad's father

A lot of Nigerians are not happy with the way the Mohbad’s father is handling things after the passing of his son, especially with granting interviews and disclosing some information about the singer. It’s only right that he is called to order as many agree that it is taking away the main focus of finding justice for the late singer.

Tonto Dike feels hurt that Mohbad’s father is more concerned with financial possessions than he is with grieving over his own son. Many agree with her and they claim that this issue is in the mind of well meaning Nigerians and she is bold to do the call out.

The Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has expressed her displeasure with Mohbad’s father in an open letter published on her instagram post. Tonto Dike is known for always standing on the side of the truth and fighting for it.

On Thursday, November 30, 2023, Dikeh wrote a message to Mohbad’s father on her Instagram post featuring the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad. She was very clear about how unhappy she was with his seeming preference for money over getting justice for his deceased kid. She denounced the singer’s hurried funeral, which happened the very day after he passed away and sparked a widespread outrage among Nigerians in September 2023.

She continued by criticizing his persistent demands for Liam, Mohbad’s young son, to have a DNA test performed, claiming that his interest in the boy’s paternity only increased once money started to be transferred into the boy’s bank account. He should take his DNA demands to Wunmi, his son’s wife and present widow, Dikeh reminded him.

Afterwards, she revealed the shocking information, claiming that Mohbad’s father has been making money off of his son’s passing by charging ₦10,000 to ₦15,000 for interviews. For his son’s sake, she implored him to prove himself better.
