Yobe Desert FC welcomes fresh management team

The Governor of Yobe State, Honorable Mai Mala Buni, has officially granted his approval for the appointment of a brand-new management team. 

This team is entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Yobe Desert Stars Football Club.

The governor’s endorsement signifies a significant step towards ensuring the effective administration and development of the football club under this newly established leadership.

This decision is outlined in an official circular dated January 2, 2024, bearing reference number GO/S/EST/62/S.2. The circular, signed by the Permanent Secretary (Administration), Abdulkarim Mai Umar, provides details about the newly constituted management team.

The appointed individuals include Mohammed Alkali Accama (Sarkiyo) as the Chairman, Engr Hassan Mohammed as the Deputy Chairman, Usman Maci Kumna as another Deputy Chairman, and Hassan Gambo Gujba also as a Deputy Chairman.

Additionally, the team comprises Auda Sabo Dantamas in the role of Team Manager, Gambo Mamman as an Adviser, Barrister M.B. Yusuf serving as a Member and Legal Adviser, and Makita Mele appointed as the Secretary.

The circular clearly states that the primary responsibilities of the new management team encompass overseeing and efficiently managing the day-to-day affairs of the Yobe Desert Stars FC with the ultimate aim of ensuring its success.

This strategic move signifies the commitment of the Yobe State government to enhance the performance and prosperity of the football club through a well-structured and capable management team.

The appointed individuals bring diverse skills and expertise to their respective roles, creating a cohesive unit dedicated to advancing the club’s interests and achievements.
