X Introduces AI-Powered News Summaries Feature, Exclusive to Premium Subscribers

—

In a bid to streamline news consumption, X has rolled out a groundbreaking feature named “Stories,” leveraging Grok AI technology to condense news updates.
This innovative feature, however, is reserved solely for premium subscribers, offering them succinct summaries of trending topics.
Unlike traditional news summarization methods, X’s Stories rely on analyzing platform conversations rather than direct news articles.
While this approach enhances efficiency, users are cautioned about potential inaccuracies in the AI-generated summaries.
This move echoes Twitter’s past initiative but distinguishes itself through AI automation, contrasting manual curation.
Alongside this development, X has been actively enhancing its platform, introducing features like a Google Meet-inspired conferencing solution and extending Community Notes accessibility to Indian users.
The introduction of the summary feature marks a milestone in X’s ongoing AI-driven updates, reflecting the company’s commitment to innovation.
