Famous Nigerian musician, Seun Kuti, has revealed why he is not close with his first daughter.
The singer made this known while speaking about his fatherhood journey.
In a viral video of his interview with popular media personality, Timi Agbaje, Seun disclosed that he had a baby mama before getting married to his wife, Yetunde
He described fatherhood as his greatest achievements, he stated that he is not close with his first child for lack of connection with her mother.
“The greatest thing I ever achieved is becoming a father, I have two kids but I’m not really close to my other daughter but to have the joy of that is my greatest achievement.
“It’s complicated circumstances. No family is perfect, but I’m not close to the mother of my first daughter.
“I wasn’t married when I had my first daughter. Interestingly, I only had premarital sex twice before my first daughter was born.”
