Why I accepted two-week contract to be on BBNaija – Prince Nelson

In a recent conversation with journalists, Prince Nelson Enwerem, one of the guest housemates on the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All-Stars show, shed light on his short-lived appearance and the reasons behind it.

The highly anticipated BBNaija All-Stars show commenced on July 23, boasting 20 housemates and a tempting cash prize of N120 million. Prince, alongside three others, was introduced into the house on August 21, sparking excitement among fans.

However, their stay in the BBNaija house was shorter than anticipated, as they were asked to leave on September 3. Prince clarified that the show organizers initially approached him to participate as a full-time housemate, but he declined due to prior commitments he deemed more important.

In his own words, Prince explained, “I would have gone, but I had other priorities that I feel like right now are more important to me.”

Prince’s participation was governed by a two-week contract, which was initially designed for him to be a house guest. He also revealed that there was an option to extend this contract at the discretion of Big Brother. However, Prince had made it clear to the producers that he did not wish to activate this clause.

The primary motivation behind his decision to return to the BBNaija All-Stars show was to promote his newly established record label. Prince stated, “The main reason why I initially declined and also the main reason why I accepted to come back to the show was to come and promote what I am working on right now: my record label.”
