Without meaning to be overbearing, he is a provider of guidance.

Without being doting, he pursues to guide a child into brilliance.

 

Not much is said or celebrated about him but he is a marvelous mast.

Not always popular, he values playing a pivotal parental role as a must.

 

In several communities and countries across the globe, is there a holiday

that is devoted to honoring this family member? You shout: Father’s Day!

 

It might be a show somewhere, possibly not so in Africa, but then Africans

have always attached worth to the roles played by dads—without celebrations.

 

Perhaps for points and pointers, ponder and pursue no further than a flavor

of African insight ingrained in storytelling and proverbs and … don’t shiver!

 

A father never resembles his son, it’s the son who resembles the father. A child

can play with its mother’s breasts, but not its father’s testicles. Truths piled!
