WhatsApp Introduces Text Formatting Options for Enhanced Chats

WhatsApp has unveiled new features that bring diverse styles and layouts to your chats, allowing users to add flair to their conversations.

The latest additions include options for lists, quotes, and code formatting.

Lists:

Users can now create bulleted or numbered lists within their messages, providing a convenient way to organize information or make plans.

For a bulleted list, simply start your text with a dash and a space, while a numbered list begins with a number, a dot, and a space.

Quotes:

To emphasize or highlight specific text, WhatsApp now allows users to create quotes. Begin your text with a greater-than sign and a space to make the text stand out from the rest.

Code:

Ideal for coders or those sharing technical information, WhatsApp introduces a code formatting option. Wrap your text with a backtick symbol to maintain spacing and alignment, resembling a code editor.

These formatting options are available across all platforms, including Android, iOS, Web, and Mac.

Previously in testing, they are now officially rolled out to all users, enhancing the chatting experience with both functionality and fun.

With these new additions, WhatsApp users now have a total of seven ways to format their text. For a comprehensive guide on exploring all the editing options, refer to our previous tutorial. Elevate your messaging experience with these creative tools!
