Recent developments involving Tonto Dikeh, her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, and his partner, Rosy Meurer, have drawn public attention following Churchill’s statements on April 29, 2026.
In a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Churchill rejected claims that his relationship with Meurer had ended in divorce. He described the reports as “completely false” and questioned the basis of the speculation.
“The reports circulating online about a supposed divorce between Roseline Meurer and me are completely false. There is no truth to them,” he said.
He also addressed a document circulating online, said to be an “enrolment of judgment,” bearing both names. Churchill stated that he had not been formally served with any legal notice and challenged the validity of the claims.

“Any legitimate legal process requires that all parties be formally served… I was never served,” he added.
In the same statement, Churchill made a notable clarification regarding his relationship with Meurer, stating that there was no legally recognized marriage.
“There was no church wedding and no court wedding. What took place was an introduction. Therefore, the idea of a ‘divorce’ is baseless from the outset.”
The comments have introduced uncertainty about the couple’s legal status, particularly as they have been publicly known as partners for several years and share two children.
Churchill also spoke about his past relationship with Tonto Dikeh, confirming that both parties have resolved longstanding differences.
“If Tonto offended anyone, it should be me alone… however, we have both chosen to forgive each other.”
He added that their focus is now on raising their son, King Andre, and maintaining a cooperative relationship.
The statement follows recent appearances of Churchill and Dikeh together in Abuja with their son. These outings had led to speculation about a possible reunion. However, neither party has indicated any intention to resume a romantic relationship.
Meurer, for her part, has previously denied claims surrounding her relationship with Churchill, including reports that she had unfollowed him on social media. She has not issued a detailed response to the latest statement but has dismissed earlier rumors linked to the situation.
Public response has been mixed. Some commentators have interpreted the reconciliation between Churchill and Dikeh as a step toward stable co-parenting, while others have questioned Churchill’s remarks about his relationship with Meurer. Reality television personality Queen Nelly commented on social media, writing, “Women, please know your worth.”
As of Thursday, April 30, 2026, there is no confirmation of a divorce between Churchill and Meurer, and no indication that Churchill and Dikeh are resuming a personal relationship beyond co-parenting.
