The United States government has strongly condemned the killing of nine members of the family of Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo in Plateau State, describing the attack as horrific and demanding that those responsible be brought to justice.
In a statement shared on its official Facebook page, the US Mission in Nigeria expressed deep concern over the persistent violence targeting Christian communities and other vulnerable groups across Nigeria’s Middle Belt.
The mission extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and all those affected by the tragic attack, while urging Nigerian authorities to ensure the perpetrators are identified, arrested, and held accountable.
“We mourn with the families of the victims and stand in solidarity with all those impacted by this senseless act of violence,” the mission said, reiterating the need for justice and stronger efforts to protect vulnerable communities.
