WAEC Warns Candidates of Fake Websites Offering Classes

—

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has cautioned students taking the WASSCE to steer clear of fraudulent websites falsely claiming ties to the exam body.

The Acting Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina, issued a warning about a specific website promising online classes for WASSCE candidates.

WAEC stressed it has no links with this site and cautioned it might be a scam aiming to collect personal details.

To ensure accurate and reliable information, WAEC recommended its official e-learning portal: WAEC Online e-Learning.

The council emphasized its commitment to providing credible information and urged candidates to utilize its authorized e-learning platform.

Additionally, WAEC highlighted its achievements in the past year, unveiling a digital certificate, an interactive student engagement portal, and the ‘WAEC Verify’ feature.

The council introduced ‘WAECKonnect,’ an online platform fostering communication between WAEC and candidates, enabling access to vital information and interaction opportunities throughout the examination process.

WAEC reaffirmed its dedication to serving Nigerian students excellently. Emphasizing the importance of authentic sources, the council urged candidates to verify information solely through recognized WAEC portals for their safety and benefit.
