Following soaring prices of food items in the market and the rising cost of living, a viral video of a man weeping in the market over his inability to buy food items with the little money he had on him has generated public reactions.
In the viral video apparently filmed in front of a shop where staple food items such as Rice, Beans, Garri and others were being sold, the yet-to-be-identified man was seen asking for the prices of the food items.
However, realizing that he couldn’t afford to purchase the food items with the money he had, he broke into tears in public glare.
Meanwhile, a ton of Nigerians have continued to lament over the prevalent hardship across the country.
Recall that on Monday, February 5, residents of Niger, Kano and some parts of the country flooded the street to stage a protest over the heightened cost of food items across the country.
