VIDEO: Atiba University DVC Flees as Students Protest Suspension of Law Programme

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) of Atiba University has sparked controversy following remarks he allegedly made to students of the university’s Law programme during a protest.
The students took to the streets to protest the suspension of the university’s Law programme for the next 10 years.
During the demonstration, the DVC reportedly described the protesting Law students as lacking a proper understanding of academic matters, a comment that angered the students and heightened tensions at the scene.
In a dramatic turn of events, the university official was reportedly forced to make a hurried escape after the protest escalated, with footage purportedly showing him struggling to climb over a fence to get away from the protesting students.
The incident has since generated widespread reactions, with calls for the university authorities to address the students’ concerns and clarify the reasons behind the suspension of the Law programme.
