Nigerin and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has tendered his apology to coach Garcia and fellow teammates of Napoli following his horrendous reaction after being subbed off yesterday during their frustrating barren draw away at Bologna.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Nigerian forward has tendered his apologise to the club:
“Victor Osimhen has apologized today to manager Garcia and Napoli teammates after showing disappointment when subbed off yesterday, Osimhen told in dressing room speech that he was overreacting as he always wants to win. Napoli also confirms confidence in Rudi Garcia, but positive results are needed.”
Osimhen missed from the spot the kick in the 72nd minute to deny Napoli the opportunity to earn all three points away from home.
This has been Napoli’s second consecutive draw this season in the Serie A.
