Victor Osimhen and 29 others shortlisted for CAF award

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) today shortlisted names of players, coaches, clubs, and national teams who will jostle for the 2023 CAF awards. Victor Osimhen and 29 others have been shortlisted for the most prestigious individual award in Africa.

In the men’s category, the CAF made a shortlist of different categories:

Nominees for Goalkeeper of the Year (MEN) award:

Nominees for Coach of the Year (MEN) award:

Nominees for the National Team of the Year (MEN) award:

Nominees for the Club of the Year (MEN) award:

The award is scheduled to take place in Marrakesh, Morocco on the 11th of December 2023.

No Nigerian club, coach, or goalkeeper made the six categories of nomination as shortlisted by CAF so far. Victor Osimhen remains the only Nigerian to make the whole list of nominations.
