Veteran Actor Amaechi Muonagor dies from health challenges

Veteran Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonagor has passed away. He was 62 years old at the time of his death.

The confirmation of his passing came from his cousin, Tony One Week Muonagor, who is an ace singer. Tony One Week confirmed Amaechi’s death via his official Instagram account, where he posted a photo with a burning candle and a caption bidding farewell to his cousin.

Before his death, Amaechi Muonagor had been battling health challenges, including kidney disease, diabetes, and stroke.

His cousin, Tony One Week, had previously shared news of Amaechi’s health struggles on social media, indicating that he was undergoing treatments such as weekly dialysis at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi.

Amaechi Muonagor was renowned for his roles in various Nollywood movies, including “Aki and Pawpaw,” “Igodo,” “Karishika,” “Last Burial,” and “Police Recruit.” He hailed from Idemili in Anambra State.
