The United States (US) authorities have shared images of the crash site where Access Holdings’ Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe, and five others lost their lives.
Wigwe, along with his wife Doreen, their son Chizi Wigwe, and former Nigerian Exchange Group Chairman Abimbola Ogunbanjo, were aboard an Airbus EC130 helicopter that crashed near the California-Nevada border close to Halloran Springs.
The crash occurred on Friday, February 9, around 10:00 pm and resulted in the deaths of all four passengers and two crew members.
The released images, following a visit by Michael Graham, a board member of the NTSB, depict the activities conducted during the first full day of investigation at the crash site. The NTSB officials also conducted aerial drone mapping to document the scene.
Graham noted the agency’s dedication to a thorough examination of the crash site, mentioning the recovery of various electronic devices and onboard equipment for further analysis.
