US Officially Bans Tiktok

Its official TikTok has been banned in the United States.

Reports surfaced earlier that the platform would shut down on January 19 after its Chinese owners failed to sell the company, as required by a law signed by President Joe Biden back in April 2024.

While the Biden administration announced they would leave the final decision to the next president, TikTok is now no longer accessible in the U.S. as of today.
