As part of the second official engagement of his visit to Borno State, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on Saturday commissioned a fleet of electric buses and vehicles at Ramat Square, Maiduguri.
The buses were procured by the Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum led Borno State Government to improve public transportation and promote sustainable urban mobility across the state.
Speaking at the event, the President commended the state government for embracing clean energy solutions and prioritising modern transport systems, describing the initiative as a step towards environmental sustainability and improved quality of life for residents.
  
The commissioning highlights ongoing efforts by the Borno State administration to rebuild infrastructure, enhance public services, and introduce innovative solutions despite years of security challenges.
