The much anticipated 2024 Grammy awards have come and gone with five Nigerian artistes losing out after been nominated in various categories for the 66th Grammy Awards.
Recall that Davido, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake, and Olamide were all nominated for the awards with Burna Boy getting four nominations, Davido three nominations, Asake, Arya Starr, and Olamide getting one nomination each.
However, none of them won during the ceremony which took place on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
Meanwhile, South African music star, Tyla, bagged an award for the Best African Music Performance category at the 2024 Grammys. Tyla beats Davido, Asake, Burna Boy, and Ayra Starr to win the award.
