The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police (SP) Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed the unfortunate incident during a telephone interview with the press on Tuesday.

According to SP Haruna, the fatal accident took place at Karfi village, located within the Kura Local Government Area, just a few kilometers from Kano.

“The accident happened at Karfi, which is not far from Kano. Unfortunately, five of our officers lost their lives in the crash, while eleven others sustained various degrees of injuries,” SP Haruna stated.
