A staff bus from Borno State University was involved in a fatal accident on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, resulting in three deaths and at least 30 injuries.
The crash happened when a large truck collided with the side of the bus. The victims were rushed to Umaru Shehu Specialist Hospital, where the injured are receiving treatment.
Eyewitnesses described the bus as severely damaged, and emergency responders quickly evacuated the injured to the hospital.
The deceased have been handed over to their families for burial while efforts continue to care for those injured in the tragic incident.
