Toke Makinwa Calls Out 2Baba Over Ongoing Drama with Annie Idibia

Popular media personality Toke Makinwa has openly criticized singer 2Baba (2face Idibia) amid the ongoing controversy surrounding his marriage to actress Annie Idibia.

Taking to Instagram, Toke expressed her disappointment over how 2Baba has handled the situation. Reacting directly under a video he posted where he admitted to making the controversial divorce announcement she wrote:

“This is wrong on all levels, and you should be ashamed of yourself for bringing this here. Bring it on. If you think she’s alone, let me tell you here that you’ll have to fight all of us.”

Toke didn’t stop there. She addressed the issue further on her Instagram story, criticizing those who chose to remain neutral.

“I’m not one for too much talk, but what is wrong is wrong. As a woman, if you sit on the fence on this one, it might miss you, but it’ll touch your daughter or another female in your family,” she wrote.

She added, “No one is innocent here, but if you want to bring the media into it, knowing what’s happening, we will fight for her.”

This comes after 2Baba admitted he was responsible for the divorce post, which he had previously claimed was the result of his account being hacked.

Toke’s bold stance may stem from her personal experience with marital issues. She divorced her ex-husband, Maje Ayida, in 2015 after he impregnated his ex-girlfriend. Their marriage was dissolved by a Lagos High Court on the grounds of adultery.
