President Bola Tinubu has formally submitted his All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general election, marking the official start of his re-election bid.
Tinubu will once again run alongside Vice President Kashim Shettima, who has been retained as his running mate.
The development was announced on the President’s behalf by his Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Ibrahim Masari.
The submission of the nomination forms signals the formal commencement of the APC’s preparations for the 2027 presidential campaign.
