President Bola Tinubu has chosen to implement the Oronsaye White Paper Report. This report has ideas to help government agencies work better and spend less money.

By using these ideas, President Tinubu hopes to make the government more efficient and save money.

The news came from Bayo Onanuga, who works closely with President Tinubu, in a tweet on Monday.

“Twelve years after the Steve Oronsaye group gave their ideas on how to make government agencies work better and a white paper was issued two years later, President Tinubu and his team today decided to use those ideas. They plan to get rid of some agencies and combine others to make the government smaller,” Onanuga tweeted.

The Oronsaye Presidential Committee was made by the Federal Government to find ways to improve government departments, groups, and agencies.

One big idea from the committee is to merge the EFCC, ICPC, and the Code of Conduct Bureau into one anti-corruption group.

This would mean getting rid of the current laws for these three groups and making a new law for the combined group.

The new group would have different parts for prosecuting, investigating, preventing corruption, and handling people’s declarations of their assets.
