This Game Is Generational, Office-bearer

This game is generational, why play it

to serve the avid interests and appetites

of personal purses? That’s narcissistic!

A generational wish or supplication

is nobler than a generous but generational

curse curated, conserved on the lap of egoism.

Do you subscribe to the belief that life

is what one makes, that politicians don’t

owe a soul an explanation, an apology, a life

for choking and chomping nations into shards?

Huge hitches, follies and foibles bedeviling

nations, communities, companies and individuals

mean that cursed cargoes are being rammed down

into generations’ throats: a cycle of pains and idiocies.

Indeed, there must be a stout and clean commitment

to tackling the political, economic, social, habitual

 and ecological worries, woes and wars of our time.

It should be a generational and motivational tradition

and obligation where every soul should leave behind

a healthier, happier, fairer, gentler and lovelier nation.

In spite of the fact that snags are ubiquitous and various,

 is it not possible to bequeath the next generation a richer

and a more bearable world than the one that one inherited?
