The first season which won the award for Best Costume Designer at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) also broke the first-day streaming record on Showmax in Nigeria. It was the only African show to emerge in the top 10 most-watched shows on the streaming service in 2022 across Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa.

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, Celebrity designer and stylist Toyin Lawani Adebayo, and Businesswomen, Chioma Ikokwu, Laura Ikeji-Kanu, and Mariam Timmer will be returning to the show while former models and fashion entrepreneur Tania Omotayo and Faith Morey will be joining the show.

“I joined The Real Housewives of Lagos because my life is so public but not because I shared anything, simply based on assumptions. This was an opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone to share a bit of my life and challenge myself with something new,” says 32-years Tania Omotayo who is a mother of one.

The former basketball player and model, Faith Morey said: “I have always loved reality TV. I am a private person but for some reason, I wanted to experience it. I also wanted to meet fellow hardworking ladies.”
