“The Person I am With Now, I Can Be With Her for Life” – Joeboy Talks About Settling Down

Nigerian singer Joeboy, whose real name is Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, recently shared his openness to marrying his current girlfriend, expressing deep affection for her.

Speaking on Madame Joyce’s ‘Cocktails & Takeaways’ podcast, he described their relationship as filled with pure, intense love.

Joeboy emphasized his belief in love and marriage, highlighting the significance of commitment. He explained that he’s committed to his current partner, envisioning a lifelong connection with her.

The afrobeat star stressed the importance of genuine, enduring relationships, stating that he wouldn’t engage in a committed relationship unless he saw it lasting for life

According to him: “My current relationship is like pure, intense helpless love.

“I believe in love and marriage to an extent

“The person I am with now, I can be with her for life. If I don’t see myself being with somebody for life, I’m not going to be in a committed relationship. I would rather let’s just be seeing ourselves but no commitment.”

In a previous interview, Joeboy mentioned having spent around N50 million on his girlfriend over two years, though he admitted uncertainty about the exact figure.

He also expressed a desire to keep his girlfriend’s identity private, aiming to shield their relationship from excessive attention on social media.
