The News Chronicle encourages young people to get involved in national matters by lending their voices to particular subjects concerning Nigeria’s growth and development.

The essays will be judged based on their originality, clarity, and impact.

Eligibility

Candidates must be between the ages of 16-30 years old.

Candidates must like and follow all our social media pages.

Candidates must share over 20 TNC content on their social media pages.

Candidate must be a Nigerian and have a NIN card

Prizes

#20,000 for 1st position; #15,000 for 2nd position and #10,000 for 3rd position;

including a certificate of participation and publication.

The top 10 entries will also get an honorable mention on our social media page, a certificate of participation, and publication.

Submission

All entries must be submitted by 11.59 pm WAT on Sunday, 30 June 2024.

Entry is free.

Word Count is between (450-700) words.

Articles found to have 16% plagiarism and above will be disqualified.

The judges’ decisions are final.
