The Blurry Lines Around Civil Wars and the Missing Definitions and Laws to Prevent Them?

We have heard the term “one day war”, like the U.S. and Venezuela; six days war, like the Arab-Israeli war; twelve days war, like the Iran-Israel war of 2025, etc. If duration is among the yardsticks, then what level of civil unrest of a deadly conflict, for days or weeks, can we start documenting it as a civil war? Which countries have the most civil wars in the past one hundred years, and studying how to prevent their replication in other countries is the spirit or purpose of my writing. Without proper definition of what is a civil war, the importance of counting them, studying them, etc, then we are not learning from each other’s mistakes. The different types of civil wars should also be studied, and which types deserve new laws or which measures to avoid both repetition and escalation in unprecedented ways? Where were the worst ten civil wars is vital to study, or only which regional and world wars do we study to avoid much worse versions? I cannot tell you how many civil wars the Gambia,  Senegal, Nigeria,  the U.S, etc were involved-in in the past fifty or hundred years. You can dismiss me as a ‘non-historian’, but the facts remain the best of historians are yet to even properly define civil war, or why is the present ‘unrest’ in the U.S not debated as a level one or xyz civil war or heading there by when? No! I mean how do we study which laws or measures could have helped in preventing the mess or the potential escalation of the conflict, beyond the U.S.  From small Gambia,  to bigger Federal oriented countries like Nigeria,  India,  etc, have enormous learning to do, except actions like new laws and other measures should follow the very learning my writings provoke.

The dictionary will give you a simple definition like war means conflict or armed fighting between countries and within a country? Well, civil war cannot mean just two groups of civilians in a conflict like the Blacks and Whites in one of the u.s civil wars, and which side or ways did the U.S military play in that war and subsequent deadly civil wars or unrest?  A place like Sudan is a good example of civil wars beyond civilians. We also use terms like gang-wars, but my title is demanding a broader debate on defining what is a civil war, different types of civil wars, and how to prevent them? The lazy minds will argue ‘civil unrest’ for weeks, months, or years does not mean civil war? Duration,  intensity of fighting,  number of direct and indirect deaths,  number of suffering, etc, in an internal conflict are some of the ways to help us define civil wars in categories more than hurricanes and other natural or man made disasters. Perhaps we may also consider a new word or term like Federal-state civil war, state- oppression civil war, etc. If they are from the department of war, under the command of the war secretary and war president, then they are likely there for war, a civil war of what level until stopped?

We know external wars can be much more deadly, so some people think guardrails like using Congress can prevent the executive from unnecessary or dangerous external wars. You can debate how many countries have such laws or which measures  each erect to avoid unnecessary conflicts externally versus internally? Gentle men agreements are often not enough, so lack of well-defined laws often mean dangerous loopholes. The executive will argue on one scenario to want powers on ten scenarios. If the law clearly says a governor can request the national guard as helpers in which ways, then the federal executive can help in no more than a week based on emergency, then a special judiciary committee can extend it through which renewal intervals? The chaos in Minnesota may not have started under the best laws or more easily stopped by a group of judges than protests and weak appeals from local leaders. Trump and many leaders may respect a judge 90% or xyz% more than a politician they dislike.

Invoking the Insurrection Act: We already heard Trump threatening the possibility of invoking the insurrection act or emergency powers in your respective countries exist? Again, how can we use the legislative or judiciary branches to contain unnecessary invoking to avoid civil wars or deadly unrest? Emergency power before or for one week and bring your evidence to a special group of Judges  to warrant bigger than arrest or indictment.  Why do you need a simple claim or evidence to get an arrest warrant, a grand-jury indictment, etc for one suspected person,  but no judge or sets of judges to invade a state? Immigrants without arms are called invaders, even if they entered legally and paid taxes for years, but armed federal agents entering a state to start or escalate a chaos are not invaders? Perhaps, you need laws when to use state level national guards versus inter-state national guards. Using the national guards of a Republican State against a democratic leaning state can be much more brutal and a recipe for escalation towards a more deadly civil war. Our differences in race, gender, or even ideology sometimes demand strategic deployment.  Although I am pro-intervention where need be, I think it was smart to use Ecowas forces to drive away Yahyah Jammeh from the Gambia instead of mainly White u.s forces. It does not mean I wouldn’t have supported u.s support behind the scenes or I will not support U.S or Russian forces to contain vivid injustices in bigger Nigeria or xyz.  So I do agree interventions can be good, and there are times when a president does not need the permission of a governor to send the national guard or the military,  but let that president still need the permission of the supreme Court or xyz to avoid power abuse. For example,  if Texas were somehow abusing blacks or a minority group and the governor was complicit or in illusions of having it under control,  then a caring president and a set of judges can certainly intervene to allow the national guard of another Republican state to face the guilty in Texas, as an example.  You want to count how many presidents ever invoked the insurrection act or emergency powers in each country, in which scenarios, but you refuse to count how many presidents started or escalated a civil war because you are yet to properly define a civil war? By properly defining civil war, you can charge or at least document which presidents start or attempt civil wars to deter their existence. You want to count Trump starting an ‘illegal’ war with Venezuela that costs zero American lives, but you do not want to count the unrest or civil war Trump started that is costing dozens of American+ lives and rising? If he invokes the insurrection act, it means more deaths and suffering,  and potentially an escalation from civilians taking arms to other forces from other states entering the rising conflict? Look at the pictures of Minnesota before ICE entered there and look at the videos as the escalation unfolds? Call me weak or caring, but I find it disturbing from a distance even though America once or still considered me a ‘terrorist’ or potential terrorist? I may arguably be the most peaceful person on earth,  who hates to see even animals suffer or die unnecessarily. So I try to save American lives with honest suggestions and urge other countries to learn from the good and mistakes of the U.S, but avoid the evil of the u.s and every country.

Money and Civil Wars: Arguably, over 90% of civil wars have to do with wealth that the judiciary or executive failed to correct or started? No wonder ch.100 claims: ‘Man is violent in his love for wealth.’ Of course that includes war mongering females and those who vote for certain leaders or support certain policies.  Slavery was for wealth, the violence to acquire and maintain slavery was the reason for the main u.s civil war. The so-called war on drugs or cannabis is violent and has a lot to do with wealth.  Trump promised to end that civil war, but indifferently contributing to the gang-war around cannabis in which states? The civil-war in Sudan and how many civil wars are somehow tied to wealth.

The so-called immigration raids and policies of ICE can be linked to wealth, directly or indirectly.  In our age of Technology, the age of abundance should have been decades ago, so I do not think AI can bring that age with capitalist and super capitalists mindsets as world leaders.  The world is capitalist leaning, even the so-called anti-capitalist countries are dangerously tied to u.s and increasingly under-resisting and under-admitting our wrongs or complicity in an unjust world wealth system.  Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada near explicitly admitted ‘we went along and benefitted in what was/is based on a lie, [implicit cruelty and explicit indifference with blaming of victims]’.  The country or state you live in will in many ways limit your financial potential, not just your personal intelligence or hard work.  Wealth is often tied to collaboration or ‘let’s’ in the spirit of Showlove Trinity.  So the company Jarga Kebba Gigo works for contribute to what level of success I may attain,  not just the country or my talent as even a salesperson or media person.  The world of wealth,  the world of health,  and the world of character are linked but also separated.  God tends to care about controlling health and character much more than the financial or visible aspects of wealth.  Just as it is possible to lack all three, it is indeed possible to gain all three blessings.

So I do not think the remedy to world wealth problems is immigration of people,  but immigration of ideas and sincere sharing to access to learning and working opportunities,  including standards. Many of the poor countries can claim to be victims of 15 to 25%+ of unjust world systems,  but a strong culture of cameras can also reveal weakness in standards. From mandatory education up to age 18 or 20 and other measures will still help even if AI may help under caring leaders. Technology transfer and understanding there are other powers beyond humans is something the ‘Elon Musks’ and ‘Donald Trumps’ are yet to understand,  despite their  so-called success in wealth. AI is just another test that can enhance nature in the wealth and perhaps health worlds, but cannot replace nature or defeat the Lord of nature. So humans must still understand the importance of great character,  especially being truthful and kind.  I left a well paying job in the west for health and character conflict with Western leaders. I am financially struggling,  partly due to arthritis issues and unjust Western fighting against me even from a distance,  but also partly due to my family’s lack of collaboration that God is yet to resolve. Despite the challenges,  I am improving on health and believe my prospects to be healthiest are greater in presently poor Gambia than any richer Western nation.  So I am not anywhere near those seeking to be in the west, especially as an ordinary immigrant. The world of character is slightly different, you can have a great character in any place, you just need knowledge or connections with the Lord of conscience. Sometimes it greatly helps to have a good start with conscientious parents and leaders,  but those advantages can now be narrowed with technology in our global village.  Humbly learning is not arrogantly indifferent. Seemingly healthy Trump or healthier than Trump can die tomorrow,  and those with health challenges can rise or suffer more… It is a very complex world.  However,  if there is one place humans can help each other most , it is likely wealth.  The world of health and character is largely advice between humans,  because curative health is almost like rescue from hell. We need stronger connections with God more than the u.s,  which does not mean the u.s did not contribute to many good in this world,  including the Internet. However,  the u.s and its companies also do many evil things, including censorship of the best to suppress truth.  YouTube banned my channel for weeks, after shadow censoring me for years now. They cannot show me any of my videos being abusive, so they vaguely claim after a strong comment of mine cannot warrant a ban from commenting, let alone wiping away my whole channel as a non offender or first time offender with no specific charges? So even the so-called freedom of the United States is fake; Capitalism is not just or based on a fair rule based system ; individuals,  companies,  and countries suffer financially by simply opposing a law or policy of the United States or xyz.  The good news is humans need very little to live and happiness is very mysterious,  because I am by far happier today than when I was making more than the average Canadian worker,  not business folks.  I am still capable of making millions,  but my focus or God’s directing is not yet on wealth,  but health and character building.  I am contributing in improving world character,  even as I wish for a bigger role and achievements in all sectors.

My point is we can help immigrants in and outside the u.s and the west in general,  and still have diversified countries in every country.  Evidently, it is hard to leave a place like the u.s to a country with much worse civil wars and other ills, including worse than Trump in character as a leader. The u.s and politics can be very mysterious.  The best u.s politician is arguably Bernie Sanders,  but he has illusions like how the donation of Elon Musk helped Trump in which ways? It is actually the help of social media like X and the censoring position of the Democrats that put them in karma under Trump. Even Bernie Sanders  has illusions or indifferent economic positions towards many third world countries.  The world is simply yet to understand how we need a global caring mindset where anyone ready to learn and work has reasonable wealth.   Showlove Trinity or Lovism can do that in better ways than every demonstrated Capitalism and Socialism beyond the national level,  but global level. For Americans,  Bernie will likely be much better than Trump beyond wealth, but no American politician is yet to care about the world vividly. America first is not new and never meant all Americans; few allies in which rankings or rat race can vary from wealth to military; then the indifference and even cruelty and lies against some countries mean no global love or global boom through America… China actually helps the world poor on affordability more than the U.S., but China also refuses technology transfer in meaningful ways.

Human love for wealth is so great that countless sweet heat loving Westerners cannot leave the west or Middle East for poor Africa,  even where human rights are largely respected like the Gambia.  Africans tend to love wealth more than sweet nature, but refuse to embrace high learning and working standards for self and others in the sharing they wish in one way. Largely does not mean totally, because countless Gambians+ indifferently gamble children of the poor and orphans up to our national development plan (NDP). You think it is ok to talk about Western indifference or Trump’s shortcomings,  but ignore African indifference or worse in  which ways and percentages? No , I am not drifting,  but weaving in how certain injustices weave back towards civil wars of different sorts.  How many Gambians or Africans are guilty of xenophobia like or worse than average Americans? Without enough help or universal plans at national+ level, you can point to the limited good you do just like the u.s or xyz can point to the limited good they do to justify other forms of cruelties or indifference. Even a child or parent who scores 30% on a test can point to a few areas s/he did right. We must understand the Lord is watching,  so how do we improve each other in the spirit of ch.103 is not just at the leadership levels,  but also the ordinary public.

Although I acknowledge protests can be good, we must admit it can also be dangerous, unnecessary,  and inefficient at times. How many civil wars started through good or questionable protests can be debated. However,  I prefer educating the public about what other measures we have besides protests. As war should be the last resort for caring government leaders, protests should be the last resort for caring civilians.  So always ask what have you done or can you do before accepting to join a protest.  Also join a protest only with enough body cameras,  meaning you should be calling for worldwide culture of cameras first. You cannot stop ‘bad folks’ from joining a protest, but with body cameras, you can deter and gather evidence where need be. It is dangerous and outdated to use phones to record a protest in 2025. Buy body cameras and even other gears like masks, bullet proof vests, etc. If you understand ch. 61:11 also mentioned wealth, not just risking lives to end oppression.  Use the judiciary and other methods where possible.  Also every protest should have very clear demands and that requires a centralised information platform like a website or multiple social media sites to avoid censorship. I truly believe world leaders  are largely to blame for the world’s problems,  including their refusal to learn fast and wanting to Lord over people while rejecting the Lord of conscience . Personally,  I may arm where need be, depending on the country I am protesting in. It makes no sense to choose no arm to face armed brutal folks where you can arm legally or illegally. I am guided by conscience more than human laws, but I do respect human laws when just, and reluctant to rush to questionable rights like protests. So I am very much a peace leaning person and want to avoid all types of wars. However,  when you wage war against me or want to oppress me too much, I am the type that asks God to pre-emptively fight for me or allow me to fight back with success. I oppose oppression everywhere and want a better world, worldwide. Again, I demand you research how many civil unrests and civil wars your country and perhaps few other countries suffered, and how they could have been prevented. Both sides do not have to be armed or have casualties to fit civil war or what type of new war crimes? What role should the Judiciary or xyz play to prevent or stop a civil war or potential  civil war in every country? May God bless Showlove Trinity: let’s learn, let’s work,  let’s have fun.
