Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, David Adeleke, famously known as Davido, recently took a moment to ponder over the remarkable journey of his fourth studio album, ‘Timeless,’ as he commemorated its one-year anniversary since release.
Released on March 31, 2023, ‘Timeless’ marked Davido’s poignant return to the music scene after a period of mourning following the tragic loss of his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Comprising 17 tracks, the album showcased Davido’s versatility and featured notable collaborations with artists such as Skepta, Angelique Kidjo, Asake, Focalistic, and The Cavemen, alongside appearances from his DMW signees, Logos Olori and Morravey.
Upon its release, ‘Timeless’ captivated audiences instantly, with chart-topping hits like “Unavailable” and “Away” resonating deeply with fans. Plus fans created different choreography dances to match the songs.
In celebration of this milestone, the Grammy-nominated artist took to his social media platforms, sharing heartfelt photos and videos commemorating the album’s success.
Davido, who recently launched a music faculty at a university in Uganda, reflected on the profound significance of ‘Timeless,’ describing it as a journey of self-discovery and personal growth.
Expressing his gratitude, Davido addressed his devoted fans, acknowledging their unwavering support as the driving force behind his success. He also extended appreciation to his dedicated team whose hard work and commitment transformed his artistic vision into reality once again.
