Thank You For The Books, Tinubu Tells Emeka Offor

President Bola Tinubu has commended the Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF) for its special medical book distribution programme, describing it as a significant effort to strengthen healthcare education and academic capacity across the country.

The foundation, led by oil magnate, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Sir Emeka Offor, facilitated the procurement and shipment of ten 40-foot containers of current medical and nursing books and journals from the United States of America into Nigeria. This intervention was in response to a special request from the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.

These vital educational resources are scheduled for distribution to tertiary medical institutions spanning all six geopolitical zones of the country.

In a statement released on Friday, President Tinubu said that Sir Offor’s generous effort “will go further to strengthen healthcare education and academic capacity at the institutional level.”

The President also thanked the Chief Executive of Chrome Group for his consistent support of initiatives that promote education, health, and human capital development, urging him not to relent in his philanthropy and the sponsorship of good causes.
