Terrorists plan to attack the 50 MW Electricity Gas Plant in Maiduguri

—

Zagazola’s report has brought to light a concerning development, terrorists are reportedly in the process of formulating plans to target the 50 Megawatts Electricity Gas Plant located in Maiduguri, Borno State.

The information indicates that these individuals, having faced difficulties in disrupting peace by damaging electricity infrastructure in Yanayakiri-Garin Kuturu of Jakana in Kaga Local Government Area and Yobe state, are now frustrated that electricity services persist in Maiduguri and its surroundings.

According to reliable sources cited by Zagazola, the imminent attack is anticipated to take place within the upcoming week.

The report emphasizes that the terrorists have strategically positioned their operatives within the city of Maiduguri to closely monitor activities surrounding the electricity Power Plant, potentially in preparation for an assault.

Given this alarming information, the publication strongly advises the Borno Government to heighten vigilance in the vicinity of the plant.

The goal is to avoid being caught off guard and to proactively safeguard against any potential threats.

The call for increased awareness underscores the importance of taking precautionary measures to ensure the security and stability of the electricity infrastructure in Maiduguri, thereby minimizing the risk of a successful attack by the terrorists.
