Teraji Penda Henson is an American actress, producer, host, with a lot of other roles in her sleeves. The actress known for her passion for acting broke down while sharing how much she makes from acting.
While speaking in a podcast, one of the interviewers asked her about her intentions of quitting acting. Well before now Teraji and a few other black actors talked about the unfair amount they receive and she said she was quitting if nothing is been done.
She broke down in tears explaining the sharing formular after making huge amount of money and she ends up getting peanuts.
A lot of people have showed their support to the actress as this has been a norm in the industry.
Teraji is known for her stellar performances in all her roles which in turn got her awards.
Actresses like Voila Davis was loud with her support as she reposted the video on her instagram page in solidarity with her black sister.
This is not the first time something like this comes up about the money made in the industry and how much black actors/actresses end up getting. However, there is still hope that something can be done about it.
