A teacher abducted during the attack on Community High School in Oriire LGA, Oyo State, has reportedly been killed by his abductors.
Mr. Michael Oyedokun, one of the teachers taken in the incident, was named in reports circulating online on Thursday.
A gruesome video said to show the killing was posted on X by Pulse Nigeria.
The video has not been independently verified by authorities, and the Oyo State government and police command have not issued an official confirmation of the report as of the time of filing.
The abduction of students and teachers in Oriire LGA occurred earlier this week.
State officials have said that they were working with security agencies to get clarity on the incident and that support was being extended to affected families.
Authorities have urged the public to avoid sharing unverified and graphic content, citing the risk of causing further distress to victims’ families and compromising ongoing investigations.
