Suspected Opponents Tear Down Posters of Borno Governor and Alleged Successor

Posters bearing the images of the Governor of Borno State and Alhaji Mustapha Gubio, who is widely associated with a possible bid to succeed the governor, have reportedly been torn down by individuals suspected to be political opponents.
According to reports by The News Chronicle, the posters were vandalized in several locations, sparking public reactions and debate among residents.
While some members of the public condemned the act, describing it as unhelpful to democratic politics and political tolerance, others expressed differing opinions on the incident.
As of the time of filing this report, neither the individuals or groups alleged to be responsible nor security agencies have issued any official statement regarding the incident
