Support Tinubu, Politics Is Over- Gov, Sule Pleads With Obi

Nasarawa state Governor Abdullahi Sule has pleaded with the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) during the 2023 general election, Peter Obi, to support President Bola Tinubu in addressing the challenges bedeviling the nation.

In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ibrahim Addra, the Governor Sule made the appeal when the former governor of Anambra state state paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Lafia the Nasarawa state capital.

While urging Obi to tap into his (Obi) wealth of experience and expertise to support the Tinubu administration in the task of building a secure and prosperous country, Governor Sule emphasized that there is time for politics and time for governance.

“I want to also call on you Sir to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The country’s challenges cannot be resolved by one person only. We all have roles to play.” He added.

Responding, the Labour Party Presidential Candidate at the last presidential poll, Peter Obi stated that he was not desperate to be President of Nigeria but that he was desperate to see Nigeria work for the good of all.

While noting that the visit was part of his nationwide tour to offer support to Nigerians during Ramadan, Obi commended the Nasarawa state governor for the road networks in the state.
