Why wouldn’t I look at her that way?
You shouldn’t! She isn’t as bad as you think. Yes the three Presidential Jets seized by China, she isn’t as irresponsible as your looks at her suggests.
How exactly did I look at her?
Your looks at her were scowling, disdainful and despising. You looked at her with a heart filled with guile, suggesting, “what an irresponsible nation”
Were you in my mind? You see through people’ hearts to know what they think?
I don’t need to see through your heart to know what you think about her. It is all over your face. Though there is no act to read the mind’s construction on the face, but in this case, the constructions of your mind are visibly on your face and your looks at her evident.
A beg! Leave me! I didn’t look at her anyhow. By the way if I did, what about it?
What is wrong with that? If she had behaved well, carrying herself with the honor, respect and values that she should, would anybody have had the reason to look at her that way? Ants-infested wood calls for the gathering of lizard uninvited. You don’t know? Annu mpa!
If she had not lost her respect and integrity, rolling through the mud of corruption, turning herself into a serial borrower, dancing naked unashamedly on global space and platforms how on earth would anybody look at her that way?
Why wouldn’t anybody look at her that way? When out of carelessness, greed and idiotic lifestyle of extravagance brought this ant-infested wood upon herself.
Why wouldn’t anybody look at her that way? What on earth did God not bless her with? Natural resources, human resources, good weather, amazing vegetation etc Still like a pig, she keeps going back and basking in the cesspool of corruption and mismanagement.
Why wouldn’t I look at her that way? If you are happy that the most beautiful bride in Africa is today the ugliest. The bride many wooed is today a pariah! The one once with a deep pocket where many African countries and beyond were coming for succour is now a shadow of herself.
Why wouldn’t any reasonable person look at her that way? See! My bodi de Pepe me! You like what this country has turned into? A joke? A public butt for drunk and gossipers at joints and marketplaces?
Why wouldn’t anybody who thinks reasonably look at her as an irresponsible daughter of a rich merchant, who instead of growing the wealth and riches bequeathed to her, squandered it rather on flamboyant lifestyle, resorting to borrow instead, to sustain her fake lifestyle.
Why wouldn’t I look at her that way? Tell me if you are happy with her? A country led by lions years ago, now being led by sheep, sheepishly leading pride of lions into a vegetable garden where hunger is dealing with them with the pains of scorpion sting.
Tell me! busy body! Holier than thou, good boy morality notice me guy man, why I wouldn’t look at her that way? You are happy the kind of foreign debts on her? Not that the money borrowed is used judiciously for the masses, rather wasted on larger than life kind of lifestyle by our leaders.
Why wouldn’t I look at her that way? Tell me Mr/Mrs “ndi association of anywhere belle face”? Ndi members of tribal bigots and fanatics? Ndi it is our time “awuru awu” meeting? It never red for your side! De play! Igo show! Igo loud!!
Why wouldn’t I look at her that way? With sadness, ignominy and pain? When those who came begging for arms from her years ago are same people giving her crumbs from their table for her to survive. Why wouldn’t I look at her with disgust?
Continue to ask me why I was looking at her that way, until China turns you into her colony and have their chains of subjugation around your arms and possibly seize all your oil wells the way the three of your Jets were seized? “Dey there dey play”! Edon dey-show!
