Stan Nze and Blessing Obasi Renew Vows to Mark Five Years of Marriage

Nollywood actor Stan Nze and his wife, Blessing Jessica Obasi, renewed their wedding vows to mark five years since their wedding.

The couple held a private outdoor ceremony at a waterfront garden in Lagos, with close family and friends gathered to witness the moment.

A video of the renewal, shared on Instagram, moved between colour and black-and-white footage as the two exchanged fresh vows before their guests.

Stan Nze said to his wife that his understanding of their marriage had grown over the years. “My sweetness. It’s been five years of sweetness, joy, bliss, harmony,” he said, adding that her love toward him had never wavered.

Blessing responded with a vow of her own, describing her husband as her friend and her home, and promising never to let familiarity replace honour between them. “I’ve always loved you. I love you even more now,” she told him. She closed by pledging to keep choosing him for the rest of her life.

Stan Nze ended the ceremony with a line spoken in Igbo. Translated, he told her: “Blessing Chinomso Nzediegwu, I love you greatly, now and forever.” Blessing answered, “I do again, and again, and again,” before he closed with the words, “Till death do us part.”

The video drew a wave of reactions from Nollywood colleagues and fans. Actress Kate Henshaw and Osas Ighodaro sent their congratulations to the couple while Gospel singer Moses Bliss prayed for the family in the comment section. Adesua Etomi and food blogger Zeelicious Foods also joined fans in celebrating the couple online, and Diary of a Kitchen Lover star Chef T said the video had her in tears early on a Friday morning.

Stan Nze, born Stanley Chukwuebuka Nzediegwu, and Blessing Jessica Obasi met while working together on Nollywood film sets and kept their relationship private for about three and a half years before their wedding.
